Quick post: the School Board is voting right now on whether to increase class sizes, cut all athletics, or cut all fine arts and technology classes. The fact that they would even think of cutting arts classes when, for UC schools, it’s a REQUIREMENT to have an art and a technology class is completely ridiculous. If you’re going to cut classes, cut a portion, not all. They are literally taking away our chance at 4 year colleges. Allegedly, a board member said that those who aren’t in the performing arts school or the charter school in our district will have to “figure it out”. MESSED UP!! Update tomorrow or Friday when the vote is posted.
