This past Halloween was pretty interesting. On Friday night, a CHP officer decided to follow my mom instead a suspected drunk driver. I went to a different neighborhood to go trick-or-treating, but that place was a total dud. There was one cool haunted house complex, but barely anything other than that. It took a while for us to get a ride to go to my neighborhood, where there’s always a bunch of candy. For those wondering “she’s too old for trick-or-treating”, I completely disagree. I will beg, in a socially accepted environment, for sugar until I can no longer carry my candy collection bag.

Just saw Spring Awakening the other day. It was an amazing musical. I have to admit it was a little uncomfortable during the…graphic…scenes with my dad sitting right next to me. Nonetheless, great actors/actresses with decent voices. The lighting might have been the best part! I wholeheartedly recommend.

My school planner says we have this Wednesday off for Veteran’s Day. A federal holiday on a Wednesday? I’ve never heard of that before. Those lazy government people who set up the federal holidays almost always make them Mondays or Fridays for a long weekend. A Wednesday…a Wednesday?!? Utter madness!
